Hi LSSolomon,
1. Have you recently done any changes to the computer?
2. Have you done any changes to the theme settings on the desktop? If you have calibration enabled for display then you may disable calibration loading by Windows. You must be logged on with a user account that has administrative privileges to make the below changes -
1. Open Color Management by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color Management.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and click Change system defaults. 3. Click the Advanced tab in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box, and do one of the following: - To prevent Windows from loading display calibrations, clear the Use Windows display calibration check box.
4. Click Close in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box.
5. Click Close in the Color Management dialog box.
You may also refer to the below links for further assistance on the issue -

When I bring up the nVidia control panel, it doesn't have any of the
color controls like brightness and contrast. The help file says I should select 'Display' from the initial 'Select a Category' page, but the only thing I get for 'Display' is 'Multiple Displays'. Except for that, it's an empty page. And I only have one display, so that doesn't do anything either. This is a Presario SR2002X, originally with XP. The Vista upgrade DVD had an option to either upgrade XP or install Vista clean. I did a clean install. I also went to hp.com and downloaded the latest nVidia GeForce driver, version 7.15.10.9734, and installed it. So, what's happened to the color controls? Is there some way to get them working? Thanks, Wee Willie
While tweaking around in the 'Manage 3D Settings' and in the 'Global Settings', I wanted to play around with some of the options, like change my performance mode to single display vs multiple display. When I apply the settings, an error message comes up saying, 'Access Denied. Failed to apply selected settings to your system'. Does anyone know why that is?!

In my case, where I have a notebook with NVIDIA Optimus, I wasn't able to change some configurations until I pressed the 'VGA Button' which effectively 'turns on' the Nvidia card.

The color settings in a Windows computer certainly matters a lot especially when it comes to printing pictures. Users who are found or edit photos for a living change their computer’s color settings in order to ensure that the printout looks like the actual colors. However, those settings might not be appropriate for computer display and you can really tell right away that there something’s not right in the display. You might also notice some weird tint which isn’t easy to get rid of. You can’t actually tell the difference at first, not until you look at some other computers and then wonder what’s wrong with yours so, in this guide, you will know how to restore the display color settings back to its default state on your Windows 10 PC.
Make sure to follow each one of the steps laid out below carefully to restore the default Display Color settings.
Step 1: Set the Color Management Settings to default.
Note: You also have the option to reset it for everyone by simply clicking on the “Change system defaults” button.
Step 2: Set the Graphics Properties to default.
After making changes in the Color Management settings, you need to also set the Graphics Properties to default.
Step 3: Try using Nvidia Color Settings for Desktop
The next thing you can try is using the Nvidia Color Settings if you have Nvidia graphics installed on your Windows 10 PC. Just the Control Panel to reset the color settings.
And that’s about it. In addition to the color of the display issue on your Windows 10 PC, if you have other system-related issues that need some fixing, there is also a one-click solution known as Advanced System Repair you can try to resolve them. This program is a useful tool that could repair corrupted registries and optimize your PC’s overall performance. Aside from that, it also cleans out your computer for any junk or corrupted files that help you eliminate any unwanted files from your system. This is basically a solution that’s within your grasp with just a click. It’s easy to use as it is user-friendly. For a complete set of instructions for downloading and using it, refer to the steps below.
Perform a full system scan using ASR. To do so, follow the instructions below.
